Every year, SSFC serves more than 15,000 children and families. To continue supporting their mental and physical health and education during COVID-19 recovery, we are virtually remaining connected to everyone, raising awareness so that they can grow up as our future citizens, leaders, business owners, and more.
We have been serving you and your family since 1994, and an entire generation has grown up on our watch. In that time, we’ve established ourselves as the premiere early childhood education, childcare, and family-friendly charitable non-profit partner to assist our most vulnerable and precious little ones during a time when they need us the most- and the early years are the most impressionable.
2020 has been our most critical year yet, as we persevere through crisis with you. All of the money raised during our summer of virtual races goes to COVID-19 recovery, childcare scholarships for children of essential employees, educational and emergency response supplies, and prevention of potentially life-long debilitating lack of access to early education for children living in households below the poverty line. We are inviting you to invest in their development to get out there and embrace their dreams of becoming pillars of the community, sharing their positive experiences, just like you.
What you can do to help
This summer, we are launching our virtual races to champion early childhood education and health, as well as the right to equal access to learning. We are inviting you to join us and show your support by participating, investing in running team, or simply making a donation in any amount.
Our primary objectives are to increase outreach and engagement with you, teachers, parents, and partners to become innovators that benefit our children. We believe our message of hope and possibility resonates, and that together, we can help more kids - and their parents – have confidence that they have a productive future.
